Merina Hotel, Yaoundé

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While I found it clean and with friendly service, I faced significant issues with the kitchen's delays and room problems. The breakfast was good, but the maintenance of facilities left much to be desired. Overall, it's not the best option if you're looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay.

I stayed for one night while traveling to Douala. The helpfulness of the staff was overshadowed by a mix-up with my reservation, and the Wi-Fi on the fourth floor was unreliable, forcing me to go to the lobby. The room was very basic, and I found the cleanliness of the towel and bed linen lacking. Overall, I wouldn't choose to stay here again, especially given the price compared to European standards.
